Iran Warns Neighbours will be Treated as ‘Hostile’ if Territory is used in any Attack

Iran has warned that neighbouring countries will be considered hostile if their land, airspace, or waters are used to launch attacks against it, as a US aircraft carrier group arrives in Middle Eastern waters amid rising regional tensions.
The warning was issued on Tuesday by an Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commander, according to Iran’s Fars news agency.
“Neighbouring countries are our friends, but if their soil, sky, or waters are used against Iran, they will be considered hostile,” said Mohammad Akbarzadeh, political deputy of the IRGC naval forces.
The remarks come after US President Donald Trump said another American “armada” was moving toward Iran, expressing hope that Tehran would agree to a deal with Washington.
“There is another beautiful armada floating beautifully towards Iran right now,” Trump said.
His comments follow increased US military activity in the region, raising concerns about a possible escalation between Washington and Tehran.
Iranian officials have repeatedly warned that any attack on the country would be met with a strong response, while urging neighbouring states not to allow their territory to be used for military operations against Iran.
