Pakistan Army’s Operation Afghan Taliban’s aggression, with 133 killed,

The Afghan Taliban once again violated the border and opened unprovoked fire on Pakistan, to which the security forces responded immediately and forcefully. Under the Pakistan Army’s Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq, the enemy has suffered heavy human and material losses. So far, 133 Afghan personnel have reportedly been killed and more than 200 injured, while several check posts have been targeted and destroyed.

In its statement, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting said that the Afghan Taliban regime initiated unprovoked firing along the Pakistan–Afghanistan border, and the security forces delivered a robust response to their actions.

Under Operation Zarb-ul-Haq, the Pakistan Air Force continues to carry out decisive strikes against the enemy.

Sources state that in the latest air raids, two brigade headquarters in Kabul were destroyed, inflicting substantial losses on the enemy during the operations.

According to security sources, in Kandahar an airstrike targeted and destroyed one corps headquarters and one brigade headquarters, while an ammunition depot and a logistics base were also completely destroyed.

In Afghanistan’s Nangarhar province, Pakistan Air Force aircraft destroyed a large ammunition depot. It was further reported that in Paktia, a corps headquarters was effectively targeted in a precision airstrike.

Security sources add that under Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq, retaliatory strikes resulted in 58 Afghan militants being killed and more than 100 wounded. The Pakistan Army has completely destroyed 27 posts and taken control of seven Afghan posts.

In the effective counter-action, more than 50 tanks, artillery guns and APCs were destroyed. The Ministry of Information stated that the unprovoked firing by the Afghan Taliban government along the Pakistan–Afghanistan border was met with an immediate and effective response.

The statement added that the Afghan Taliban carried out unprovoked firing in various border areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), to which a swift and effective response is being delivered. According to the Ministry of Information, the Afghan Taliban violated the border in Chitral, Khyber, Mohmand, Kurram and Bajaur. Pakistan’s response caused heavy casualties on the Afghan side and destroyed multiple check posts.

Security sources stated that Pakistan’s security forces are responding with full force to the unprovoked Afghan aggression. As a result of the counter-action, Taliban hideouts were destroyed and militants fled their positions.

According to security sources, in the Chitral sector, an Afghan Taliban check post was precisely targeted and destroyed by Pakistani security forces. In the Nawagai sector of Bajaur, Tirah in Khyber, Mohmand district and the Arandu sector, a strong response was also delivered. Additionally, security forces destroyed two Afghan Taliban posts in Bajaur.

Security forces have affirmed that they are fully prepared to defend the border and to respond firmly and immediately to any form of aggression.

Sources further reported that Pakistani security forces used tanks in response to Afghan aggression, destroying several Taliban posts and causing multiple casualties.

Following unprovoked aggression by the Afghan Taliban at the Torkham border, the Pakistan Army launched an effective and forceful counter-operation, pushing the enemy back. Security sources stated that due to the strong Pakistani response, Afghan Taliban fighters retreated. It is reported that they loaded equipment onto trucks and withdrew from the Torkham border area, while Pakistani forces further strengthened border defences.

Security forces also destroyed the Afghan Taliban regime’s sector headquarters through artillery fire.

Infiltration Attempt Foiled in Bajaur Sector
An infiltration attempt near the Pakistan–Afghanistan border in the Bajaur sector was foiled. According to security sources, a militant affiliated with Fitna-al-Khawarij was arrested alive while attempting to cross the border. During initial interrogation, the suspect identified himself as Abdullah. Further investigations are under way.

After the effective response by security forces, Afghan Taliban personnel reportedly abandoned their posts and fled near the Mohmand sector.
