Aged man from IIOJK dies at Wagah border before being deported to Pakistan
Amritsar: An aged and infirm man who was brought from Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir to be deported to Pakistan collapsed and died at the Attari-Wagah border.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Abdul Hamid Butt, an old man from Kashmiri origin, returned to occupied Jammu and Kashmir from Pakistan in late ’80s and settled in the Kashmir Valley. However, he was forcibly taken by Indian police and sent to the border where he suddenly died.
His body was taken for post-mortem that would be held on Thursday. Earlier, the police deported people throughout the day.
