PTBF, Pakistan Sports Board discuss strategic roadmap for advancing tenpin bowling

Islamabad: Senior officials of the Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation (PTBF) and the Pakistan Sports Board have held a high-level meeting to discuss a comprehensive strategy for the development, institutional strengthening and nationwide promotion of tenpin bowling in Pakistan.

PTBF President Ejaz ur Rehman and Vice President Khalid Raja met with Pakistan Sports Board Director General Yasir Hussain and Mahreen Sajid, Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Inter-Provincial Coordination.

During the meeting, the PTBF leadership delivered a detailed presentation outlining the federation’s development priorities, ongoing initiatives and long-term vision for establishing tenpin bowling as a well-organized and internationally competitive sport in Pakistan.

The presentation included proposals for expanding the sport across the country, identifying and nurturing emerging talent, strengthening coaching and training structures, improving sporting facilities and providing athletes with greater opportunities to compete at national and international levels.

Participants also discussed the future trajectory of tenpin bowling in Pakistan and examined practical measures required to broaden public participation, reinforce institutional support and enhance the international standing of Pakistani bowlers.

Ejaz ur Rehman and Khalid Raja reaffirmed the federation’s commitment to developing a sustainable national framework capable of producing technically proficient athletes and delivering consistent performances at major international competitions.

The meeting represented an important step towards closer coordination among the PTBF, the Pakistan Sports Board and relevant government institutions for the structured and long-term advancement of tenpin bowling in the country.
