 Sopore, Dec 10: Scores of residents of Bohripora area of Sopore in north Kashmir, including family members of class 10th student studying at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has gone missing since the past two days.

The protesters while blocking Sopore-Kupwara road raised slogans to seek help from administration to trace out the student.

Family members of the missing student identified as Masroor Abbas Mir son of Abbas Mir of Bohripora area of Sopore said that their son had left his hostel at 8 am for school but did not reach there.

 “We tried to seek his whereabouts from his colleagues and school authorities, but nobody is aware where he is,” a family member said.

 His family said that a missing report has been filed in the concerned police station as well.

 The family also appealed people to contact on the following numbers 8308876880, 8491878812, if they have any information about their missing son.
