We’re well into the seventh installment of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). On Sunday, Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars locked horns on the field for their first clash of the season, with Fakhar Zaman’s immaculate batting propelling LQ for an easy win.
PSL Clasico – as many fans called the match on Twitter – saw some of the best Twitter content to come out of Pakistan. While many hailed Fakhar’s brilliant batting and ridiculed KK’s collapse, the latter decided to release the PSL anthem in the midst of all the chaos.
Featuring Asim Azhar and Talha Younus, the anthem which would have done well on any other day, was laughed off by fans as a tactic by the KK team. Many called out the timing of the release hilarious as KK struggled on the field.
Fans had a thing or two to say about the new KK anthem.
Product placements, noisy generic music and Asim’s poor singing.
ARY producing crap on and off the field.
The only good part was when the track ended.— McDaddy (@night_cricketer) January 31, 2022
So they decided to release the anthem on the day they lost to their arch rivals.

The only smart thing the franchise has done this year; release the anthem mid game to distract from their on field performance 👏 https://t.co/c9aFmFIPzZ

However, some think KK anthem is the best one to come out this year.
